The Girard Free Library is thrilled to launch our brand-new Spice Club—a monthly treat for adventurous taste buds. Each month, starting in January, patrons can pick up a free “make and take” kit packed with two flavorful recipes, fun trivia, and just the right amount of spice to help you whip up something delicious at home. Kits will be available on the Library’s first open day of the month, while supplies last—one per household.
Our first spice, cinnamon, will be available for patrons on Friday, January 2nd.
The spices and month are: January: Cinnamon, Februrary: Chili powder, March: Turmeric, April: Coriander, May: Oregano, June: Cardamom, July: Cumin, August: Rosemary, September: Zaatar, October: Curry powder, November: Sage, December: Fennel
