The Friends of the Girard Free Library Annual Book Sale begins Friday, September 13 with a pre-sale from 5-6 PM; there is a $2.00 admission fee for first opportunity to shop this year's offerings of books and audiovisuals.

This is our biggest book sale of the year, and all proceeds benefit the Friends of the Girard Free Library. The Friends sponsor the summer reading program, fund special events and speakers, and purchase equipment and furnishings.
